Frankly, they deserve it and should be recognized as genetically inferior to the white man in every way.

He hated the Catholics, not the Irish
I have always been fascinated with WW2, I have gone across Europe to visit famous battlefields and recently I have been going to the Pacific to visit Japanese-held islands.
Big mistake.
You see, some islands the Japanese occupied have not really been, cleaned up.
Peleliu for example.
I don't mean things like artillery, tanks and caves and buildings, I like it when previous battlefields are left the way they where 70 years ago to protect its historical significance.
But, if you exit the tourist route, you can see some creepy shit.
I exited the route when I arrived in Peleliu island last week, in a search to find a cave system that the Japanese used during the invasion of peleliu.
I found one, but the problem was no one else had.
Inside I counted 5 corpses, perfectly preserved possibly from the coolness of the cave and because of the low oxygen compared to the outside world. Their uniforms, equipment and insignia where still intact. And it seemed that it was a mass suicide, to avoid imprisonment. Obviously not very nice. I was struck with fear and still have nightmares.
However, I told the locals and now the bodies are being sent back to Japan.
I kinda feel good for that.
And what did you have for lunch today? Can we get a picture? Or maybe you could Tell us about your childhood.

Were the Italian Wars Medieval or Renaissance?
>Renaissance
Before the economic systems of that period gave nations enough money to fund large independent mercenary forces they didn't exist in such a form. In terms of fighting it was just medieval warfare on steroids, but still not really part of the period if you consider them separate
>>2737039
Medieval and Renaissance are not opposites or succeeding era's anymore than Rococo is the era after Early Modern. Depending on who you ask the Middle Ages or Medieval period ends in 1453, 1492 or 1500. The Renaissance is generally considered to have started with Giotto around the year 1300 and to have ended around 1600 with the Baroque starting.
To answer your question: Early Modern, the Italian wars were Early modern.
>>2737039
Medieval since the middle ages end with the French Revolution

Should some form of democratic system be the end goal for all states?
If not, do you think any other system can ensure the long term prosperity of a states people better?
>>2736573
Yes, some sort of (ideally infallible) meritocracy.
>>2736573
Any government trusted by its people is fine. Democracy is the least bloody way to contest control of it but holding a civil war every once in a while works too I guess.
>>2736573
Democracy with revolutions every 200 years would probably work

How can a country suddenly change language and lose their old one?
Example:
if they speak language A and adopt language B aren't they just supposed to speak language A at home while using language B in scripture and in aristocratic occasion? also, did the peasants of the country use language B and how would it favour them?
lets take todays France as an example.
??
>Celtic
600 BC
>Develop the Gaulish language (unique to the celts of france) speak it for
50 BC, roman invasion
>Roman language becomes primary for 700 years
700 AD, Franks invade.
>Franconian language becomes primary for 1000 years?
>Modernization of latin
>>2736286
that's not how it happened. this is how it happened:
>celts migrate to gaul
>speak celtic
>over time and isolation, becomes gaulish
>romans invade and conquer gaul
>impose latin as a language
>people never truly learn latin well
>vulgar latin (aka the "latin" the people spoke) becomes a different variety compared to formal latin
>by the time of the end of the western roman empire, differences are significant to the point of vulgar latin and formal latin are not mutually comprehensible
>franks invade gaul, wre collapses
>merovigians unite and in a brief period of prosperity talk with the priests to convert the people
>priests acknowledge vulgar latin and formal latin are different and they need to celebrate masses in the vulgar form
>vulgar latin aka language of the people becomes the standard to be taught and spoken everywhere
>still tons of varieties present all over the place
>one standard emerges around paris (aka where the king lives)
>centuries go by and the parisian standard is imposed on all people
>that standard is now modern french
it's actually much more progressive than what you described. also franconian was never a primary language in france

I'm Lithuanian, so I can speak a bit about how Polish spread here. When the Union happened, the aristocarcy would learn Polish in order to communicate with the Polish side, since Poland was seen as a more 'western' country all matters would be discussed in Polish. Over time they Lithuanian became unnecesary since they they could just speak in polish not only with the Poles but also among themselves. Eventually, seeing that Lithuanain was only spoken among the peasantry, it became associated with being a 'peasant' rather than a citizen. The peasantry would then try to emulate their lord (who often didn't even know any Lithuanian) and would also adopt Polish.
Another way to look at this is the influene of English today. Non-anglo people will start using english slang among themselves even when they speak the same language. At first it's for convenience and then it becomes a status thing.

Hey /his/ I've been wondering, how would history be different if the American colonists had lost the Revolution or if the war had never happened?
How different would the world be today without the United States?
>>2736223
pax brittania would have begun sooner
>>2736223
Even if the Revolutionaries lose, or it never breaks out into war, you're likely to see some sort of low-scale agitation continuing on after or instead of the war. And it would cost way more than the colonies generated to keep a staff of Redcoats occupying the Colonies, or even just the northeast, on a full-time basis.
You'd probably see an earlier start to the Dominion system, or something similar to it because there's a very good chance that Parliament is going to offer up some slice of self-rule to keep agitation down.
history would end, people would just accept the infallible logic, science, intelligence, rationality and reason of the Anglo and that this a natural evolution of history, technology would advance further, standards of living would be much higher, there would only be 1 world war where the Anglo finishes off the last stubborn stragglers, the world would be an objectively better place
