I understand but am not thrilled about critiquing really low end artists but the drawing at the start of this argument was clearly a 4+ hour undertaking someone did completely for free with the assumption they weren't going to get critiqued. Regardless of whether you agree with the spirit of the rules anyone who is here has a reasonable expectation that they are followed and they very much aren't, which is why it's a shit hole around here while other boards have much better draw threads.

You say that like it's a bad word. Who would assume this? What kind of an artist doesn't want to improve? That guy correctly pointed out a couple of issues with the drawing, all things that the artist would be wise to remember for the next piece, but nobody's saying it's garbage or should be redrawn. There's no reason to tolerate personal attacks or anything, but this is completely normal constructive feedback that any artist should expect when they post their stuff online.

But /h/ and /e/ are pretty much the most drama-free drawthreads out there.
