I keep seeing this over and over constantly. Whatever you and a couple of others are using to upscale your pictures then you need to stop because it's doing much more harm to your pictures than you're aware of.

First and foremost, if your monitor cannot support native 4k then don't try to emulate it. If you do, then there are better alternatives out there then what you guys are using(I'm suspecting Honey Shot).

1. Your picture is being turned into Index color.
2. Massive Noise/Dithers all over the place.

I only picked that picture for demonstration purpose. Its practically all over all your pictures and many others previously. Again, if you can't run 4k natively its much better for you to just stick with the max res for your monitor. You're just destroying the quality of your pictures.

How does this work

Damn, the new play home has a massive update in graphics and utilization of computer resources. Maybe it's because its just a demo, but it runs like a dream! Much smoother all around than Honey select. I hope they prioritize this. Now hopefully an active bones and muscle skin upgrade come along, and a slider increase mod as well so I can import my HS cards perfectly.

I have a problem with my game. I'm not sure what causes it. When I try to reduce transparency of clothes in the maker, whenever I switch away and back again the transparency is at 100%. Even if I reduce it to 50, if I switch to say tops>bottom, then when I switch to tops the transparency reset to 100%. Anyone know what's the problem here? I just want to reduce transparency of some clothes.

i usually use some thing to overlay the face over the honeyselect head then zoom in and out until its perfect
then i lower the opacity and just increase the size of things like the nose and eyes until its close to the char

Is their starting position 0;0;0? I've noticed the manips don't rotate their default state along with the character, so rotating them 180 in the space will actually invert the manip coords

something is off about the chin, and to a lesser extent the jaw perhaps, the one on the left and right seem a little droopy? jutting? I dunno its difficult to explain.

Maybe its the mouth orientation in regards to the nose and chin? chin seems a little too long? again its difficult to explain. The rest looks pretty spot on imo but the chin/jaw looks a tad off.

Back up is pretty good.

Then you want to download the update called latest all inclusive update (or something to that effect)
then download the plugins you want (definitely need wideslider and ggmod if that's there)
then the translation last.

All the difficult stuff has been made easy thanks to the anons who maintain the pastebin. There's still room for screwing stuff up, but just make sure you have a backup going when you're making changes or adding stuff.

And as for mods, you'll have to figure that out yourself. Most of them have previews inside the folder when you download them, and most of them are just drag and drop affairs.

to add to this, make sure your in game FOV matches the source phtos POV roughly. Dont just zoom in and out. You can use the IBL plugin to see the numerical values on PoV in character creator.

Download mods from the pastebin till you find one like everyone else. Most of these are japanese and no one remembers the names of the mods anymore, if you don't dl every single file that has item or accessory in it's name you're doing it wrong.
