Is there anyway to search high power tags only?

How much RAM do you have? I ran into issues like that but I have 4GB. It might have something to do with the image filesizes as well (original vs. resized, etc). I've been using Chrome, though, so I can't really provide too much input beyond that.
Anyway, your best option is to break it up into smaller chunks (sets of 100 or 150, for example) and merge them at the end or you could use hdoujin downloader (software) - you'll have to input your login credentials there, though.
