Cross your eyes, so that the two images overlap.

You should see three versions of the image, one in the center which is in 3d, and one on either side, in 2d.

Ran trough this guide. Some parts got pretty blurry, I think I'll make another one taking my time and picking a easier picture.

wow, i stopped looking for stereoscipic pictures quite some time ago, but there are many great pictures in here. and some really horrible ones. luckily, the latter can be easily recognized and skipped by looking for the FIRSTMAN label.

Thinking about writing a small webapp that makes creation of these images easier and produces better results, not sure if it's worth the effort

I can do the crosseye thing with smaller images, but I can never do it with bigger images like most of these. Is there a special trick to make it work, or is it just experience?

Decided to go ahead and start writing this tool.
