Candy and /koe/ guy has made a storage server dedicated to backup/upload voice works within' it.

The storage space for the server is currently 512 GB big and requires a sFTP client in order to connect and download/upload (such as FileZilla, WinSCP etc.). Downloaders are able to just connect and download. As for uploaders who wish to contribute something... hop into the Discord server. Go to #verification and ask for permission. Candy and /koe/ guy will be sitting there and talk with you. This is to prevent from random people to just join and fill the server up with random crap.

You can also visit voice.station.moe in order to check if a certain voice work has been uploaded or not. If you wanna check a full listing of what's been uploaded, connect to the sFTP instead or search "RJ" at voice.station.moe for
most of the DLSite's stuff. All informations regarding about what username, password, host address etc. and how to get permission to upload stuff, can be found at the FAQ page. Click on the image in order to see the url for the FAQ.

The first episode is... decent, though it is nowhere near Pixy's quality. I suppose we just have to accept lower quality hentai by ZiZ Entertainment. It lacks intensity.

I like the first episode, it was the most solid stuff from ziz lately. But quality and runtime is generelly lower nowadays, due to low budgets.

Anyways, low qualitiy exactly it isn´t - compared to most other h-animes ziz stuff is still top tier. Just the animation frames are bad actually, atleast on previous titles, TA3 EP 1 was solid again.

Most h-doujin artists live with other people. They also sell prints and do commissions. Some artists today are even taking it to Patreon. The bulk of their money comes from selling on Comiket and digital sales.

I'm pretty sure magazines still pay per page. The publishers will offer to help with printing costs when the artist makes a tankoubon in exchange for a small cut of the proft. Artists that are able to afford printing and manufacturing costs, though it's cheaper if they do it in bulk. There's also personalized print machines, but it becomes pretty costly for high quality ones.

It's basically the same as every other starving artist, except with porn, but better.

I'm not an exprert, but from what I understand - most of those who work in this field accommodate their lives accordingly with the mindet of simply making ends meet so that they can just focus on creating more (similarly to animators). 99% of them don't have families either, so their lives usually revolve only around their passion alone.

Also, there are barely any artists who only produce 3 works per year. There are other smaller events besides the biannual comiket (which isn't really meant for making a buck anyways). They mostly rely on commissioned CG works/magazine publications for their main income as far as I'm aware.

I don't think that it's fair to compare h-manga to Shounen Jump and the likes either (who heavily rely on assistance framework to merely keep up with the insane pace, and the corporate mindset that encourages mangakas to burn themselves for their 1-2 major works). Besides, try comparing the quality of an average weekly/monthly manga page to that of an half-decent hentai artists' - you'll most likely find that 9 times out of 10 the hentai work would win (in terms of art quality) - since it is much more visually driven by nature.
But yeah, there are obviously many hobbyists who attend Comiket, since the event is essentially meant for fun, and not some crazy contest of who sells the most.
