thoughts on the book letter fountain?

What is it? I've been looking for a resource/reference book on type, as well as something a bit more introductory that serves as an educated crash course

It's a huge analysis and reference on anatomy of letters, the most famous typefaces, etc.. Also a bit of history if I remember well. Great resource to choose and compare typefaces or for type design. Basically, its a type encyclopaedia.

its on my to buy list, also taschen made ton of books on /GD/ i have one about logo design its goot too but the Type one is one of the best if you find a good deal get it

OP here, got the book it's fucking amazing.
Not worth having a pdf compared to a hard copy of it!! I can share if you guys want may post up in a few weeks but i reccomend you buy for like 30$
