I have an economics degree, a web design service, and I perform 15 minute classical pieces by memory. I think I can figure out how to click and drag some shit and export it in the high quality format or whatever you faggots do

How can I do this too?

Cool story bro.
Did you download the software like you said you would? Or are you now just baiting that asshole who wouldn't shut up on that other thread?
Technically speaking designing is easy you just need to learn how to use software, the complicated part is when it comes to aesthetics, it's something you can learn but not as easy as you might think.
There are plenty of tech-savvy designers that know their software very well sometimes even more than a actual good designer but the stuff they end up making is trash.

This is the kind of designers that design schools are pumping out and it's fucking up the whole industry.

The idea that "design can be done in 15 minutes, over the weekend, with a 3 hour tutorial and anybody can replace a professional" its what's killing the field. Nobody respects a designer and his craft, this cheap economist musician proves this.

Kinda retarded are you? Don't know how trolling works kid?

I'm a design student and kind of agree.

no, this board is sick and we need to fix it
>>313881
be proud of your craft, you're spending time, money and love into this, don't let anybody belittle it

People like you who want to half-ass everything and feel smug about your ignorance to the true value of well-done design is the reason why capitalism will eventually fail.

Hello. What does design mean to you?
When you perform a recital, do you appreciate the way the piece was crafted? The timbre, the tempo, the nuances?
The stave, a bass clef, a time scale, a semibreve. Do you appreciate how someone, at some point decided to typographically demonstrate sound?
You're silly!

People have this idea because the industry is full of hacks that can't even draw but can make click and drag logos in illustrator and photoshop things.
Design and illustration can be cool, it can be creative but it's an industry full of hacks that would have never even been able to get their foot in the door before adobe was invented.
That's why my goal is to work from home.. so I don't have to put up with all the shit people in the industry.

I think it's nice that you take breaks from your job search to troll message boards. It's probably liberating to know that your time has no value.
This is maybe the most obvious bait thread in a board that is often filled with bait threads
and all of these insecure losers are falling for it
fucking gd

Graphic design is actually a complete joke it's so easy. I'd doing it over the summer during a work placement, even though I have an accounting degree and am doing a coding course.
It's stress relief to tool around on CC making nice things all day.
I kinda taught myself how to design because it is therapeutic.

What makes you think I have a bad career?

Is your design good though?

Good design is subjective anyway. Designers critique the fuck out of any other designers project to make themselves feel better and to look like they can improve it, because if you say you can improve it means you know more than the person...
All you have to do is follow the trends and never ask a designer for input (because you'll go down a rabbit hole of pleasing the autistic) and normal people will think it's acceptable to great work.
