I started working on a banner that I have to set out to print in a couple hours. The files were all in CMYK from a start (photos, .ai file, everything)
Now that I'm exporting it, my piece of crap illustrator generates two vertical pixel-thin blank lines when exporting to .jpg (what the print shop prefers due to file weight) and whenever I export to .tiff, the colors fade. (which does not happen in .jpg)
Any ideas?
open .jpg in PS and content aware the pixel line? If it's one pixel wide it would be pretty spot on
Okay, I solved it. Through some stupid method of exporting as .pdf, opening it in photoshop and saving it as .tiff in photoshop, the colors didn't fade.

file size (500cm x 90cm)
wouldn't let me save as .jpg from photoshop.
Good suggestion though, thanks.
