Hello /gd/, I am making a card game and this is my design for it. Got any ideas how to make it more futuristic looking? It is set in Mars, wonder how I can get people to go "Yeah this feels like Mars".

try to gather inspiration from pinterest search for card design, ui design, ux, hud, sci fi, photoshop styles, icon design, etc. after that try to copy or emulate effects or parts of the designs you liked.

Maybe ask yourself what makes you go "Yeah this feels like Mars"
The design is kinda sloppy and amateur looking
The colors don't work great together
The minimalistic design is not well done, it lacks good harmonisation
Overall it looks too blank and it doesn't convey anything to me.
You need to work on the semantics, try to understand what image comes to mind when thinking about Mars
I see space, dust, rocks, warm colors, emptiness, etc..

Doesn't look like any assault hoverdrake I've ever seen, and I've seen a few. I was in the Battle of Hesperia. Lost half a leg defending the moon escalator to Phobos against those scaly astrodrake filth. Nowadays, even just seeing everyday people walking their Noachian hyperlizards down the moving sidewalk is enough to give me a panic attack.
