thanks!
can anybody help with doing this in PS?

make a bunch of lines and use the liquify brush tool or the transform - warpand distortion tools but thr original was probably made in a 3d software very easy to do with c4d landscape tool + lines alpha texture

Learnt this yesterday. Think you can only do this in Ai.
Draw the first and last line yourself then select both lines.
Object > Blend > Blend Options > Spacing: Specified Steps > 20
Then again, Object > Blend > Make (ctrl + alt + b)
Have a play with the value of Specified Steps until you have what you want.

This will do exactly what your second image is but the Joy Division one isn't automated.

The history behind that picture is pretty interresting. It's a visiualisation of a radio signal they discovered from a certain location in space. Later it was discovered it was a pulsar.

Shit, that is really cool
>>310404
That's complicated. Just make a line/box/literally any object at all, click and drag while holding alt to copy it to specified location and then ctrl+D until you are happy.
Is it just me or was this in 13 reasons why on Alex Standall's wall?

why did you watch that movie

are you a fucking idiot

It's not that fucking hard why's there even tutorials for this? It's literally only 2 tools.
>>310595
Because not everyone may have known how to use those tools...and now they have an opportunity to learn something new to them
>>310595
doesn't look like the original at all, idiot
>>310618
lmfao. Im not going to spend the time on something I don't care about. You would obviously have to actually work and spend time creating the lines you want. i literally just scibbled on it to show that's how its done, idiot.
>>310641
it's not a matter of time, your method is just wrong
the lines won't have constant thickness
