Thanks for the suggestion

It's an illision. Simple straight lines, use a grid ;)

something like this perhaps i forgot the circle in the middle but that's easy
>>
Rotate and copy an object, then press ctrl+d and the action will be repeated
>>
make a circle then select dashed line and add the amount of lines you want then increase the stroke weight
>>
use the circular grid tool and delete outer line, easy peasy.

Straight line, rotate tool (using a circle so I can snap to middle point), 360 (circle) divided by how many lines you want, Copy, duplicate/repeat steps.

You can also use this method to creat those trendy "rays"

there are many ways to do it OP but everything so far is meme answers

method 1:
make a circle with a dashed line with according parameters. Easy nondestructive control, but with three caveats:
• you can't control the absolute diameter of the hole unless you do the math
• the stroke grows bigger the further you go from the center
• they aren't outward facing lines, but real, distorted compound paths upon expanding

method 2 (what you probably want):
make a circle with no stroke or fill, send it to back and add two identical lines on top. blend them using parameters shown. you have full access to every parameter; the size, shape, number of, and angle of the strokes and also the diameter of the hole. the lines don't have to be even lines desu, any two blendable objects will do
only caveat is that there will be one extra line upon expaning but whatever

Yes this

Hi could you explain the whole process of method 2

if you can't understand this then gitgud

There are three components to a blend. Start shape, end shape, and their path.
The path must be behind the start shape and end shape and have no color.
The path must be an open path, so you will have to break it. There are several ways to do this, I just find it fastest to A -> cmd-X -> A -> select -> cmd-J. You could click on the "Cut path at selected points" button in the top bar too.
Then select all three objects (the two paths on top and the invisible path on the back) and blend them.
Adjust accordingly at Blend Settings.
