it is a lossless image format which makes it waaay superior to jpg if it comes to quality and printing.

Always work with the highest resolution & seast compressed files you can find in your layouts. you can always sample them down if you export for web or something like that.

seriously this board is full of pretentious, basic as fuck losers who have no clue what they're talking about. If you want to get any useful feedback try some reddit graphic design group or pintrest/instagram for that matter. this here is just garbage.

If quality is your concern, you'd go with TIFF and not PNG, but I'd recommend you go back to plebbit.
