Apart from the fact that that blend in far better with the rest of the image, is a better size compared to the LOGAN, and generally works better in a 1:1 aspect ratio

This. And saying that the OP pic is a homage to that picture doesn't justify shit, and if it's supposed to pay homage to it then it does a poor job at it.

In that image the focus of the picture is turned away from the camera, walking to the side, with a guitar case in his hands. There are few distinct background features other than the telephone poles, it looks intentionally mundande but the image is still intriguing.
In the OP picture, the focus is walking towards the camera. I've seen that same pose dozens of times. If he had a gun he would emulate the BC2 case cover nearly 1:1.
The background is a lot more grandiose, especially with the sun right behind his back as it's about to turn dark.

The fonts only look sort of similar but OP's text is white and doesn't even try to blend in with the rest of the image. Not particularly interesting or stylized, seems like a rushed job.
