What's a good font for a fairly minimalistic business card?
Papyrus is a good font
What type of industry is it for?

Unless you want to go for a specific feel, any one these free-as-in-freedom all-arounders would do:
>Montserrat
>Rubik
>Roboto
>Alte DIN
>Dosis

Thanks. I like Montserrat and Roboto, might use a combination of those.

FYI the Google Fonts Montserrat entry hasn't been updated in some time, you can find versions with more characters and in more weights on the GitHub repo:

Caveat: even though it's gone to meme status, it's still a great fucking font

minimo, magnitude and quiroh
Metropolis. It's free on FontSquirrel and it's fucking beautiful. Also comes in a shitload of weights with a complete set of italics.

Seriously. Everyone here trying to be contrary and flex their type skills but really Helv is the minimalist warrior's sharpest sword

I don't recommend paid fonts to people unless they specifically state they have a budget. Always better to assume they don't than encourage theft.

Fair enough mate, that's a good idea.

Thanks for the advice, you've all been very helpful.
I was pretty much settled on using Montserrat and Roboto (the former for the company's name and the latter for the rest) but Metropolis and Roboto looks even better.
I'm still open for suggestions though, so feel free to namedrop any font you would recommend (free preferred) for a minimalistic and simple looking business card.
