I’m planning on designing an interactive map of a cell. Attached image shows a bit of what I’m going for, though in a different style. The individual parts of the cell would all be separate layers with a little idle animation and such. Upon zooming in a window would pop up with information.
I am developing this for two things: Web, as a landing page for navigating through pages, and for booths (using a large touch screen). Ideally, I would like a single solution for both.
I’d preferably want to use vector based assets from Illustrator and make use of a variety of animations (transparency, rotation, scaling, moving, all looping). Do any of you have suggestions or recommendations for software? Point me in the right direction? Adobe Animate CC? Google Web Designer?
I’ve done animations in the past using AE & Illustrator, but nothing interactive of the sort.

What you're suggesting is a horrible idea for a landing page.

Not necessarily the main page, just as a page we direct to for browsing various parts of the cell.
I think I misunderstood the term a bit.
