I actually barfed up $70 for these fonts. Love the look. You stack the fonts in various layers.

Wow, the thumbnail looks like shit.
>>297301
Trying a smaller image to see if the thumbnail improves
Still looks like shit. Why is the thumbnail muddy?

For a personal t-shirt project. I really, really like the look...
>>297316
I hope the shirt was worth 70 dollars
do you sell stuff on a site.
>>297317
>do you sell stuff on a site.
Nah, but I get the feeling I can make up the cost by generating a few t-shirt projects on craigslist...
>>297318
so tell me about this personal project of yours, whats it lookin like.
>>297319
For a computer group. Still working on it. Our motto: "If you can't be offensive, why bother?" Note the fashionable piss yellow and shit brown color scheme...
>>297320
I am physically pained by the similar-but-not-quite-parallel arcs.
>>297325
This. That is beyond fugly as is.
>>297326
how about this one?
>>297354
Naw, it looks like a burger to me.
>>297378
Now I want a burger. What about this one?
70 bucks? You played yourself. This was about 10 min playing with Extrude/Bevel.
>Stacked fonts
mate, multicolor fonts are possible with the newest OTF specs
>>297381
Colour-wise, it looks better than the previous one. But I'm still not sure about that counter-symmetry arc.
>>297381
Why is Wichita Kansas so far off to the right? Move it over man

Layer 1: Text in lightweight typeface
Layer 2: Same text in bold face from the same family. Align characters in Layer 1 over Layer 2. Forms may need some adjustment.
Layer 3: Duplicate of Layer 2
Convert all to outlines.
Layer 1: Effect; 3D; Rotate (In this case, 8, 8, 0)
Layer 2: Effect; 3D; Extrude and bevel. Use same rotation /perspective as Layer 1. Use custom light color to compliment text color (blue light on cyan text in this case)
Layer 3: Extrude and bevel with opposite horizontal perspective as Layer 2 (-8, 8, 0). Disable shading. Set text color to desired shadow color (dark green here). Align Layer 3 to the extruded portion of Layer 2.
And that's it. 10 minutes. Totally free.
>>297431
>>297450
Sorry, I meant "shading color" on Layer 2.
Anyway, fuck around with it because it's easy as hell to do. On some typefaces, you can even fake an okay bold by applying a stroke, outlining it, and then merging it all together. I did this here four times before the characters started to look all fucked up.
>>297389
lmao
>>297318
why not redbubble?
I don't /gd/ but I do like buying nice t-shirts off redbubble.
>>297450
Top Kek
>>297307
Ask 4chins for the thumbnailing code and reverse-engineer that fucker.
Seriously, how do you expect to control how a website scales images?
Use PNG si itbdoesnt look muddy
>>297450

>>297461
>redbubble
I'd never heard of it, I'll check it out...
>>297450
Oh! You sure showed me!
>>297520
Not sure if sarcasm. If it is, that's a bummer. As a freelancer, design kept me fed and my bills paid. Lazily dropping 70 bucks on some font set could have meant not paying my phone bill. Now I literally own an agency, and I still wouldn't cough up a dime for those fonts, because that's a hack hobbyist move.
If not sarcasm, stop paying for shit anyway. Learn.

Op looks better. Sometimes you can't bootleg perfection
