you should consider which one to buy. DTG has two types, Viper 2 and M2, both are barely same size but don't require a big room.
You should check other brands like Kornit, Brother for example. choose one that is a good considerable size for you and one that can print you fast enough or a good amount. Don't go with a small one if you can get one that's medium, later on you can purchase a big one for more production
I know they print pretty slowly and you need a heat press to cure the ink after printing. Not ideal for production jobs but fine for one-off things like gifts or quick walk-in request.
Learn fabric silkscreening. Looks better, lasts longer, cheaper, more versatile.
