I kinda like it.
Shit like this
I also hate Copperplate Gothic

Lmao
Definitely Lobster.
overused, i hate it..
Clients love it, but it's overused and you have to change the kerning letter by letter.
>>295515
I wanted to punch my monitor when I saw this.
no contest, sail
>>295474
my biggest worst hate, what is this trend and how do we stop it
This crap is literally everywhere.
>no birth of a hero
>no bleeding cowboys
come on guise
>>295732
agreed. I actually quite like it as a font, but it's become a victim of it's own success.
>>295371
Truly the Comic Sans of the '10s
>>295731
Came here expecting Lobster, was not disappointed. Fuck this font and all the businesses who use it. Ugly as sin. Also, Product Sans and whatever others try to be Product Sans. Too bland and also overused as fuck.
>>295905
Product Sans is pretty actually pretty decent anon. What are you on about?
Not sure if you're interested in a sincere discussion but do you actually know what makes a good font?
Also, classic, Papyrus.
And Souvenir. Garbage cans in my country are actually labelled in Souvenir. Quite suitable
>>295773
>bleeding cowboys
Stop triggering me shitlord
>>295908
In this case, "bad" in my judgment is exactly what I said: bland. Sure it works for readability (like in an article or long block of text) and it has design consistency, but both of those things can be said of Comic Sans as well. To be more specific, I really don't like its usage in logo and actual graphic work. It's one of the fonts/font styles that I seem to see more and more nowadays and it's making everything the goddamn same. The new Google logo is less visually interesting than my prolapsed hemorrhoid.
>>295844
I have never seen that used, am I retarded
where would anyone ever think this is a good idea
>>295920
Didn't expect a genuine reply, cheers anon.
>>295963
Not him but I see it fucking everywhere on small businesses
>>295975
Always down for a reasonable back-and-forth. Though I will admit I haven't been formally trained in graphic design so I don't necessarily have a full grasp of what does constitute a good font. Being self-taught at most of this stuff, I'm driven primarily by aesthetics.
>>295474
It's watercolor/brushstroke so it's meant to be quirky like instagram/pinterest tier taste, that's why it's so prominent
My friend does all his essays in this shit
>>295731
Like most 'bad' fonts, It has a purpose but it is overused and usually not appropriate.
>>295963
It's a default font in Premiere I believe. I remember using it a bit too, when I was a little noob. *shudders*
>>295474
I have a friend in school who runs her own etsy and EVERYTHING she does looks like this.

I hate the zapfino, omg what the people use this font?! Please don't do that!
>>296819
I unironically like comic sans.
But I know better than to use it for real projects
>>296773
Oh god, it looks like someone took another font and used Illustrator's live trace.
>>296917
And to think it's radim pesko's last font…
>anything tattoo-inspired
>Curlz
>Mistral (except for Drive)
>Chiller
