The background is hot garbage, and how exactly is it a line drawing?

Visual noise is masking the fact that there's nothing interesting here. Drop or at least tone down the tacky posterisation effect

well yeah, the background is literally just random scribbles with the brush that i put through a filter. i didnt know what to do for the background so i just did that as a placeholder i guess. any suggestions? and its a line drawing because i drew it out on top of the original image in PS. Kinda weird but that was the assignment.
Are you talking about al the different images? they're all artworks from david cho and banksy that i cut out to make up hunter thompson's face. i wouldnt really know what to do on this one if i drop that. can you suggest something?
and thanks for the critique

explain this assignment. a line drawing because you drew it on top of the original?? this is not what you call a line drawing.

Seeing as the original photo is a reference to our Lord and Saviour, Lakisha, some kind of holy aura would be apprioriate
literally anything other than random scribbles

basically we had to pick a photo, draw out the outline in photoshop, and then color it in/ add stuff/take away stuff to make a line drawing like effect.

Originally i was thinking some sort of stained glass effect. Sort of like pic related. Do you think this is a good idea?
To be honest, i suck with photoshop and I'm not too sure how i could get the effect in your picture. i guess i could make not so random scribbles and run that through a filter. i feel like the stained glass approach is probobly more interesting though what do you think?

You could, I would recommend starting from scratch if you did
