What types of graphic design currently have the best market, most demand, etc?

Its about time I focus on a niche, Im probably most interested in advertisement, print stuff, logos/branding but am also willing to specialize in other areas if theres enough of a market for it.

I want to focus on 1 or maybe 2 areas but before I do that I want to know which areas have the most demand.

Any advice? Will reply with rare pepes

Fucking motion graphics and interface design/uxp. Dont expect to live off print and logo jobs alone. Branding is fun, but is mostly farmed out to larger agencies, not freelancers like you and me. I say start learning AE if you dont know it!

I will second this.

Thanks! Is the advertisement market a lot like the print and logo job market, in that its hard to live off ?

Im def interested in motion graphics, on the fence about interface design/uxp, need to learn more about that.

Btw Im assuming AE is After Effects

Generally speaking it's better to also know UX. Yes AE is after effects. The more you know the better, might even wanna look into cameras, editing and animation.

Print can still be hot/desirable in some ways (magazine mostly) but print is dying pretty fast. Web is good. But I don't mean website design, as that is also dying with this whole new "U CAN MAKE UR OWN SITE NOW W/ OUR PREMADE LAYOUT" stuff. Something I don't see a lot of people talk about on here is roadside billboard ads. There's a company I used to want to work for here, locally, and its roadside billboard advertising. I wound up in a whole different area of graphics now but I always found something very appealing about (and there remains the demand for) billboard advertising as a job. The newsprint advertiser I used to work for obviously shared/sold some of my work (or was stolen) with said local billboard advertiser, as I was driving one day and saw one of my arrangements (slightly tweaked) on a billboard. Meh... I like print, but a lot of print is at its end.

Then what do you mean?? Like the graphics for websites but not the actual website?
