I'm trying to throw together poster for a friends event.
I'm more into illustration and drawing, GD is definitely not my thing - as I'm sure you can tell. Please ignore all the bare bones parts of it and imagine something amazing instead of the illustration placeholder.
Would really appreciate ANY crit, be as rude as you want.

Honestly, I don't know how to look at this m8. There is this kind of graphic design where the rule seems to be "fuck the rules" like Tunica Studio does. Sure they do have a solid background.
I'd be curious seeing something like that because it is so damn shitty it catches my eye, but important is to catch that eye isn't it?
What does your friend said about that?
