Anyone good at pixel art here? I want some feedback. I want to get good at this.
Thanks.
I dig it, what software did you use?
Nice colors and textures
The brick pattern on the left of the door is annoying
Work on smoothing your edges.. Anti-aliasing is an artform in itself
Nice, where are you learning from?
Aliasing and edges are problematic for me.
looks aight I guess but

Photoshops.

I'm trying to find a way to make good-looking walls. Every time I try to draw a wall, it's just a bland color with no details. I'll look into AA.

>way too many colors
But it looks bretty monocrhomatic.
>jpg (why?)
Because I'm not wise.
>grass is weird
First ever attempt at it.
>>282074
Nowhere. Just trying out things on Photoshp.

There's a pretty clear line between pixel art and low res, and you crossed it.
Doesn't mean it looks bad though, it doesn't.
>>282082
are you drawing it small then scaling with nearest neighbor
>>282082
>half decent artwork
>lets splooge non-pixelart lighting over it
Never-ever use transparent effects like that, it defeats the point and heavily implies you don't know what you're doing
>>282114
But I really don't know what I'm doing.
>>282127
And I'm trying to help change that :^)

I take this back actually. Gradients are bad for good pixel art. what I would recommend is using dithering like in pic related.
