Alright /gd/ I've been obsessed with this new trend in design for the past few months but I cannot find the term for it or tutorials on how to master it. It's characterized by neon gradients. What is the name? Post artists that follow a similar artist or any other similar styles that inspire you
Another more illustration based example. Artist is Shawnax

All the backgrounds for Monument Valley as well

I would say these are just Lowpoly style with gradient coloring? Done in Cinema 4D maybe?

You really need to start asking for names of things. There's no omniscient god of graphic design that goes around naming things. Few concepts in design have a name until the day they get a manifesto or a book written about them.
>how to master it
Illustrator's gradient fill, an understanding of color theory, and talent. I've been doing stuff like this last semester (in art school) but Im not that great

here's what it looked like btw ( 3rd try, 4chan doesn't seem to like my PDFs)

This style is vector art. They use illustrator and a fuck ton of vectors.

Clearly that poster matches up many similar other abstract pieces like in sample and thus falls under a specific style. The question OP asks is probably what is the term is to find more.
I feel like it's a post- vaporwave minimalist. But can't think of a term for it either.

>a post- vaporwave minimalist
It doesn't have a name, but if I had to describe it it's pastel gradients.
This is one of those things where you're trying to describe a feeling rather than an actual style. Like nostalgia.
Nothing new at all, was a phase in the mid 00s but started in the 60s in Japan.
Although of course woodblock print gradients go much further back
This is Memphis style remixed for 2016 bullshit

i would say so too, memphis with a bit of minimalism and vaporwave
vectors and gradients looking pretty, to sum it up

I just made something in this kind of gradient driven color style. Would love to find more like this stuff as well. I know Giant Claw's Deep Web cover art is similar.
