Still, being inspired is not enough. It lacks the concept behind what pop art was, that of taking elements of popular culture and using them as raw material for art. It was highly ironic and satiric, as it wanted to get away from the elitism that permeated the arts.

I just want to clear up on what should and what should not be considered pop art.

Here's some of my stuff. This poster was inspired in the modern movement, specifically the Bauhaus, constructivism and futurism.
