Need help, ive never designed brochures before, im experienced

You need better photos first. These look like you took them in your garage. Except for maybe the figurine and the wood texture, but even those could be better.

the issue with the japanese font is that it doesnt really give out the premium product feel to it. do you happen to have any tips or some kind of template/guide to brochures. Ive only worked mostly on posters and logo

To be fair actually, I wouldn't even use a font, I'd just use the circle as the logo, and then just refer to it as 'Dragon Foosball' wherever it's mentioned, Apple doesn't have text next to their logo? Simplifies it a lot

Honestly I think the circle thing works fine. You can easily invert the colors for black backgrounds etc. As for the layout. Go look on creative market or something for some brochures. You dont have to buy them (I mean they are like £5 some of them) but will give you good ideas and maybe use one as a base

You wouldn't happen to have any ideas on how to best present a luxury table football? My idea so far is for a trifold brochure, have one side like the pic related, and for the other i will crop and use a matching color to oak to color filer all the other pictures about the features of the product. for the background, i will use the oak wood picture

look up some artists and see a style of something you can copy. you are doing an internship so dont see it was im doing this for free, think like, ive got the oportunity to experiement, learn stuff. Learn illustrator do some tutorials! yotuube stuff! draw it by hand and scan it, try stuff!

I think i might have some tracing paper laying around, ill print those pictures and trace them. I really like the Primrose Portfolio brochure in the creative market website, ill mirror that and use the oak picture instead of gray, i think tis going stand out since the brochures are being printed on cardboard paper and will thus give it a wooden touch feel to them

yeah my idea was to simply put the circular logo down there, and put a traced version of the table football parallel to the rectangle wood intersection.

just try it. try and copy some bits from there. Some subtle colors that are ofset. some cross hatch style shading.

technically its an internship for graphic design but the company doesnt employ any designers, they just usually use fiverr. I'm going to uni to study product design this year, once my exam results are posted that is.

thats fine. If you go to layer > layer style > color overlay you can change the color of the lines. You might have to change the blending mode.


It would be easy to delete the white (select>color range) or you could just put it in photoshop, make a layer underneath and color underneath. Change the trace blending mode to darken or something

Ive got alot to learn, since the line illustration thing is going to be place d at the bottom of this (see picture) im going to need either complimentary color to belge or oak wood, though i really like the minimalist approach

I did it in illustrator but in photoshop I would,
(you might have to draw a temporary line at the bottom to close it off so you can select things)

I would select areas, litteraly with the magic wand tool. Then with the selection, fill it with the paint bucket tool on a layer below, then just move it and ofset.
