What color scheme/ theme would be appropriate for a powerpoint on terrorism?
I feel like using an army print would make me look like a massive douche and using a desert theme would make me look like a racist.
How about a dark grey? White is too innocent, black would point too much at one group in particular (ISIL).
Any other color would be tacky and unfitting imo.
Grey-dient?
I think what you said about camo patterns is completely right, don't use those. I mean I chuckled about the way you said it but it's too true.
-isil/isis used the only 2 colors that embody terrorism.
-black/red/white would be any american movie or show title color (or the official flag of WWII Germany *hint*)
red is good. it's bloody. deep reds would work. wait, are the terrorists making people bleed? then dark reds will do just fine.
i would go with black n red. it's stereotypical, but it'll fucking work. your content should be interesting enough that the cheese stereotype black n red won't matter in the long run.
check [color theory/psychology], i'm not explaining it here. google it or look in those little designy books for hints.
red and white wouldn't be good. white is usually brightness and purity. unless you are a terrorist who thinks blowing things up is pure, then you got problems.

Red text on black background is gonna look shit in a presentation, really hard to read too if its a block of text and not bold caps
Gray gradient should be fine

I did one for my Advanced Government class before I graduated and I used a dark grey background with a nice dark red almost maroon-ish colour text and the teacher said he found it easy to read and it looked nice, just my personal opinion through
red/black/grey/white
here's some ideas:

Green because of islam, red because of violence. Alternate every sentence.

This, plus plain white slides. It's not 'intense' if it's constant.
I forgot about this thread but thank you for all the replies guys. I ended up going with a sand colored gradient and the whole thing turned out really well.

This anon gets it. There should also be occasional strobe lights without warning at critical points during the presentation to suggest the suddenness with which terrorist acts occur.
