What's the photoshop of the CAD world?
I don't exactly know much about the topic but I'd say AutoCAD seeing how it's Autodesk's and pretty much the most popular option.

This, it depends on what you're doing.
If you're talking about drafting/building design then either it's AutoCAD, Revit or ArchiCAD.
Remember CAD just means Computer Aided Design (sometimes Computer Aided Drafting, or Drawing) so it really covers a broad meaning which goes from all kinds of engineering (structural, mechanical, industrial) to BIM (Building Information Modeling) to product design to 3D/virtual design, interior design, architectural/building design etc.
