Also depends on you quality of graphic design.
Also depends on how much are they distinguishable. If u're using Lyno or Circular, it's not same risks. BTW, buying fonts is the worthiest way to encourage type production, keep it in mind. I mean, it's okay to use for hacked font for personal projects or works samples, but no for final works.

In my understanding foundries do their own interpretation of a given font (which is regarded as a "must-have", like Helvetica for instance) to add something to it (weights, variants [like compressed in the PF DIN], alternates, additional languages, etc.), on the other hand I’m quite positive that it’s also a way to attract customers to buy a popular, “classic” typeface that was previously only in another’s foundry catalog.

And more importantly, thanks for helping out in this thread !

Sure, although you should consider yourself lucky already given that (1) Retina — display or not — by HFJ is quite rare already ; (2) this thread is not a magic Christmas list where you can get anything just out of nowhere.

AFAIK (hard to say without a PR account :D) it still works, what changed recently in fact is the way they hide posts, now they "nest" the hide tag inside a code tag.

Formerly they didn't, so the highlight trick allowed us to see the links.

But since they set up this new method, one cannot see the content inside the code tag, thus blocking the [hidden] links effectively.

That being said, they didn't take the time to change every single link of PR (that was quite expected), so the highlight tricks still works on many occasions.
