Make a wallpaper only using gimp and MS Paint

pretty neat for practice at least, but afaik there are no 1304x605 resolution monitors in common usage

also, stop wasting your time with GIMP, learn Ps and Ai instead

For an artist it nearly always comes down to skill in the end, not the software. So no, you can't do less with GIMP than you can with PS, but PS is still the industry standard and will continue to be so for many years.

So to not learn PS just seems foolish to me if you want to be a GD at any point in your life.

OP here, yeah, maybe I was using it ironically. But I think gimp it's not so bad, what I meant is that if you wanna take this seriously, you sould really try some better software. I just have gimp for quick stuff and pixel art.

easy, I only used GIMP in my first few years

I used to do this shit in school. Very possible. It's like Photoshop is Automatic and Gimp is manual(work arounds, but it is possible).

I made it a while ago but it was still all in stock gimp, not my best one but i had to try to make the colors work.

The worst thing about GIMP is the impossibility of kerning each letter individually without having to resort to cutting & pasting or using deifferent layers
