I have no idea where to go for this, maybe /g/, maybe here but im hoping one of you can help me with my Photoshop woes
I recently got a new monitor, its running off of my motherboard, but if I try to run photshop cs5 it doesnt allow me to do 3d because it seems that photoshop is automatically defaulting to my CPU instead of my AMD GPU.
I downloaded CC and now it doesnt even start a new file unless I disable my second monitor and then start it up.
Everything I see online is giving me tips with an nvdia card, but im AMD. Someone help pls

your onboard "graphics card" isn't powerful enough to run both the 3d features of photoshop and a second screen at the same time. You can go to edit>preferences>performance to tweak settings and have photoshop use less resources which might help

I found your problem.
Make sure you check the AMD site for any firmware updates, then software updates.
If that doesn't work, check for firmware updates to your motherboard.
If that doesn't work, update to Windows 10. Sadly, this last one has fixed over a dozen problems I was having with Win 7.

I have a 7970, and an i7 3770k, theyre seperate. The second screen is vga'd out of the mobo. I cant adjust the memory usage because it crashes immediately.

what crashes? CC or CS5? pirated or legit?
