May I ask how? And also is there a method for animated databending?
It's just coincedental, I was planning on asking for the formal name and method used to make this and your thread appears to me.

export a file to bmp
import into audacity as raw data (u-law, big endian)
add effects
export as other uncompressed file (raw, u-law)

is there a windows equivalent to textedit
In gimp just moving the view of your image around a lot causes a lot of artifacting that you can screenshot
Here's an example with several layers of the glitch artifacting
>>261023
how do you do that?
>>261120
When you go to export, the save file window comes up and you can change it bmp
