I'm fairly sure they just used after effects or premier or something to that effect. If you're using photoshop its going to be a slightly longer process of getting your color/shading/overlays to look right.

This is more of a /3/ thing.
Mostly it's acheived by using and hdri image of the environment to get accurate lighting/reflections.
That's why the ball and cube in your OP actually reflect the environment in front of it, rather than just what you can see in the image.
Just look how to set up hdri in a 3d program.
