Hey /gd/! I'm redoing my resume right now.

At my college internship, I do SO many different kinds of work, and I want to highlight that. I was considering adding a 'notable projects' section within the job description - however, do you guys think that's too much?

(Pictured is not my resume - but a design I like!)

Just know that the person who reads your resume (Assuming they've got a decent amount to sort through) will take about 20-30 seconds to glace over your resume. Make it concise, simple, and visually pleasing.

*glance. Oops

youre going to lose so much space from that huge indent that what would be a 2 page cv will be double

Remember, a resume is not a portfolio. Your employer only needs to know your skills on a list and that's it.
>>
>>243404
das meins
>>
>>243409
I've heard from more than a few hirers that they throw away all resumes with "skill bars"
>>
>>243525
its such a terrible trend. who the hell thought it was a good idea to include grade-school charts and graphs on their resume and why the hell did it catch on...
>>
>>243475
best resume that's always posted on 4chan*
>>
>>243409
don't use a fucking template if you are a designer, also the one you posted is shit.

>FUCKING BUBBLE SKILLS!!

This is not a god damned video game, so stop it! Stop marginalizing yourselves before your you even meet your potential boss.

>I see here you have 9 dots in html but only 6 in Photoshop. We where really hoping to find someone with at least 7 dots in Photoshop.

Seriously, no one with a 10 in anything would even need a resume. Do you really think people like Massimo Vignelli or Bill Gates need resumes? NO!

Fuck!
