Can anyone help me out here, i'm literally stuck for ideas on what else to add... Photography presentation is due tomorrow :/ Wondering if you guys would help me with ideas?? Thanks
It's a money sign "$" but with a "G" instead of an "S" since the name of the company starts with a "G." The two halves of the circle represent the exchange of money between two parties.
Any suggestions? It's for a class and it could clearly be better.
What do you think /gd/? Made it over the last 2 hours for my history class
so ive mostly been lurking around here for some time now
but im getting really frustrated with my illustrator. The reason being my fcking Align tool doesnt work. if i selected objects or text or whatever (everything) and then click on one of
the align buttons nothing changes ive also googled the shit out of it but the only problem people seem to have is that it wont align
in the center. But for me it doesnt align at all.
please could somebody help me, i really want it to work ive even reinstalled it but still nothing happens. thank you
tl:dr Illustrator align tool doesnt work give advice please
There are three align methods:
• Align to selection (which you have probably selected)
• Align to artboard (exactly what it says on the tin)
• Align to Key Object (with multiple objects selected, click an already selected object again, [not holding shift] and it will get a thicker selection outline, and the object will align to it)
Hey guys, I'm trying to find out who invented this artstyle. I found it on https://www.behance.net/gallery/12984019/What-Space-Really-Looks-Like and it was published no earlier than 2013.
Anyways, has the creator of this wallpaper also invented this style of color gradient/shading? What if I want to use a similar style?
Anyone know the effect that's going on here and how to achieve it?
this is my remake of Slovak republic flag.. Why remake? I dont like original design of our flag.. So I decided to make it more badass.
This is so much better desu senpai. Although it's very similar to Slovenia. And Serbia desu senpai.
Diese hier ist meine Kreation, eine Flagge, die repräsentiert allen Deutschamerikaner.
Are there any in-house designer here on the board? How do you deal with people in the office just using you as a person who knows how to use graphic tools instead of asking your advice on producing work. please, this is troubling me a lot..
I would like some feedback on a project, but I must I'm a web developer not a graphic designer. Or at least I'm trying to become one. I landed an internship with a small company but I'm not working with someone more advanced, I'm building a small site completely and putting my name on it when done. I want to make the best of it but really don't have design experience.
I don't want to do a massive overhaul, and I'm not quite in the final stage but you can see where I'm going with this. "Logo" will actually be replaced with an image that has yet to be produced. Be brutal if you must. Thanks
and heres the footer.
Like I said design isn't my thing but I want to make the best of it.
Nope, not bait. Just unskilled/inexperienced. So your recommendation would be to pare back the outside containers and let the header, footer, and main content container be by itself? Black and white isn't too boring?
Is this bad?
I need to make a logo for a Job Opportunity Association and i am a shit with Photoshop..
That must be related to the world of jobs, and the acronym "AEJO" on it.
Best one will get Fallout 4 for Steam, post Steam ID! :D
What does /gd/ think of my shit tier art I whipped up in an hour
that took an hour? Art isn't for you desu senpai. How old are you, not even try a bully.
Could one of you guys create a fake ISIS flag that says "NOT AFRAID", please?
Pic semi-related. The real one has a circle, but I don't know what to do with it. Maybe put a cock head (the animal, as in the symbol of France)
Im total noob in graphic tablet drawing is Wacom One at least decent?
Im not good at any drawing i have some Photoshop experience.
This tablet will be only some attempt on new hobby/something to kill time with.
This is my portfolio website, what do you guys think? http://mmbotelho.com/
It's confusing and artsy (in the worst sense).
IMO a portfolio website should first and foremost communicate the work that it presents. Only after that it could become a work in itself. Otherwise it will just be an exercise and style without really being connected with what it's presenting. In this particular case I'd say it fails in both fronts, style-wise it kinda looks dated, adobe flash old.
You also have some text wrapping issues.
So you're riding that dutch bandwagon of designers pushing it through overlapping features, memorabilia styles and off-the-grid design, uh?
I kinda like it although the zero-responsive attitude. I confess I'm pro-responsive at any cost.
The only hitch I encountered is about navigating through projects when inside one (eg from pistolshrimp to pi). Seems easier to add steps inbetween: home - pistolshrimp - home - pi. Every click is gold these times.
Good job anon.
Quite like it, but it's more adapted to fine art than communication design. If I was a employer I would be a bit doubtful, especially since your projects aren't that strong or interesting desu.
>adobe flash old.
Im pretty sure that's the point mang
