It's a shit logo but it literally doesn't even matter, they're a well-established service with basically zero competition. Their logo could literally be a big hairy testicle and nothing would change.

Hey OP, i'll try to be as elaborate as possible.

Depending on your budget, themeforest.net is a great place to start, They've got some nice retail-orientated templates for sale such as this one:

You can also edit the theme to better suit your need directly through Wordpress, so you if you want more or less images/columns/etc then it should be fairly straightforward.

From the looks of it, in the website you linked, the searchbar may be a custom html/css code, so you might need to add it in manual. For that, there are plenty of tutorials available online:

Finally, consider a nice logo and colour theme for the website too. Its amazing how much this can improve the overall layout of any website.

depending on which style you are aiming for.
probably the Illustrator way makes more sense with that kind of doodles

why is the circle brown? shouldn't it be yellow to represent the sun? also the circle is a bit too thick and maybe the tool "rough edges" will give you a less generic look on the edges. (don't apply to everything just the circle)

The circle/spiral is brown because should symbolize the earth (ground). =)

Thanks for the reply. I definitely can't afford an $80 plugin (wasn't Illustrator like $300-400 before Adobe went the subscription route? Seems a bit much for a plugin), but maybe phantasm is included in their trial? I'll go digging around for a free alternative I guess.

If anybody else has any ideas, post them. I'll keep up with the thread.
