VPS users of /g/: What service do you use and what do you use it for? Im thinking about setting up an email server and maybe hosting some webpages/applications

Cmon /g/ i even got satan quads
digitalocean: hosting znc, prosody, and nginx to serve a few static pages. 5 bucks/mo never had issues
I wish they had a DC in tokyo though
>>62486873
is that the 512 mb RAM one? Im assuming the "droplets" are vps'es?
>>62486965
yea, you get complete control over your droplet. you can even replace the OS they install with openbsd and archlinux
Vultr, $2.50 VPS is enough for what you need

the $2.50/mo option has almost always been out of stock for months now and is limited to 1 per account
I have the poorfag box from OVH. The lack of storage space kinda sucks, but other than that it's been fine for my purposes (Mumble, shitty meme websites, random tinkering).
I've had a home server made from a laptop with the screen torn off (little bro is special Ed), and that runs my torrents, dns, use SSH for tunnelling around firewalls, MPD streaming music, file storage, and acting as a gateway to access my local network. It's been dying though, and I'll need to migrate to a vps if I can't fix it. Cock box is a rather tempting offer.
