The First Men of the Internet have been scattered far and wide. If you want to relive 90s chatrooms, the best you will find is a husk in a wasteland. Most free web-based chatrooms are for 3rd worlders to show off their dicks to other third worlders pretending to be women. IRC is still holding on but new users are hard to come by (also compromised due to FBI finding out about hacker boats). P2P networks are "on the rise" again, but there are plenty is plenty of redditware and stability problems with the things that look promising. A lot of people have purchased the social media jew from the merchant and are satisfied just posting about themselves without bothering to be in a chatroom. The web has beocme a literal bloated operating system ontop of an operating system and there's no reason for everyone to congregate in one place due to technical limitations.
