That's BlinkFeed and you can easily switch to a different home screen. The Sense UI is pretty lightweight and close to stock Android.

Still have it, planning to replace it finally with a Mi Mix 2

I loved my M7, it was my favorite phone.

I think the V30 will finally dethrone it for me though.

Didn't revolutionize, but it was definitely the best phone for its time.

If you want to look at a phone that actually revolutionized the industry, you'd want to look at iPhone 2G or the LG G6/Galaxy S8.

The bezels were ugly but it was one of the best at the time. Build quality was way above anything else. It's what brought in the metal unibody into popularity.

There was a mod that let you turn the HTC logo into the multitasking button so it had a better layout. Not sure why HTC never thought to do that themselves. The entire bottom black section of the phone could be enabled with a few hacks since the touch panel went all the way down. The best mod turned it into a gesture panel. They probably realized most people are idiots and would think the phone didn't have a home button if they used the HTC logo but it was still a terrible choice. They could have at least enabled it in the developer settings.

They were actual branded Beats earbuds (MyBeats if I remember correctly). The sound was actually quite good, and the One M7 definitely still has one of the best phone speakers even compared to today's phones.
