Anyone notice themselves switching to Apple products as they become more successful in life and have more disposable income?
I used to never even consider buying a Mac. I didn't have that much money and all I wanted to do was game.
Now that I'm older, have good disposable income and have more interests than just gaming, I started to consider my options. The iMac is by far the most aesthetic computer out there with a brilliant 5k display. It works perfectly smoothly and I plan on replacing my PC with an iMac very soon.
Nope, the more disposable income I got the less money I spent, and the less I used computers at all.

I switched to Linux after I started to earn more. It wasn't intentional, I just realised that using Linux gave me more technical insights more choice in hardware. I've never looked back, using a Mac after Linux is like to ride a tricycle after a bicycle.

It's true, I have around 5 grand in my account and a steady income (I can go into debt, no problem). Also, I don't have to reset my computer every day like a loonix nerd. Linxpoors are just mad because they can not aford a computer that just works ;)

I forgot to mention. I switched to Linux from Mac after I started to earn more. I'd been working as a graphic designer before I became a software developer. It's my post >>62477851

Nigga, you're poor

I'm happy that OP found a platform suiting him. I'm glad that it's not Scientology.

Eh, not really. I started managing and saving my money, not blowing it on useless gimicked hardware. Now all I need are cheap underpowered devices for text and image viewing, and modifications related to that. Very easy to get something that does that for less than $100.
