Depends on how much you trust the seller to not have done anything detrimental to the laptop in the seven years since it came out. You'd probably at the very least want to replace the battery for it, and put a new storage drive in there.

That being said, laptops are one of the few devices I would never recommend someone purchase used.

It is! but fucks sake it never died on me once in my 8 years of abuse to it. I literally pried the thing apart to clean its fans and lost several screws while doing so it still works like new. I also shitposted an entire board and probably got some DDOS attacks on it but nah nothing can kill it.

It will be my main computer for the next couple of months so I better get used to it.

The NB520 is a pretty decent lappy PS7 and SAI work fine on it if youre a drawer and its motherboard is designed to survive a nuclear winter. Its just a really shit laptop for gaming like all netbooks supposed to be.
And its like $20 used so no complaints aboudah
