I want to learn programming, specifically for cybersecurity and network development. Where should I start, and what's accessible to poorfags?

I don't work in cybersecurity or network development, but Python is very popular and there's tons of libraries available. From what I've read, these fields use a lot of scripting, so Python and Bash and Dash shell scripting is a must.

I could suggest trying Python and then migrate to another more network-related language, but I'm a retarded as well and I can't be of any assistance.

Hey, thanks for suggesting stuff! I was actually really considering starting with python too!
I guess this goes without saying, but learn kali, learn to analyce processes and of course everything about networking, doesn't need to be cybersecurity xclusive, oh and cripography really helps a lot for the 90% of things you try to do (I mean eveny craking wi-fi's needs criptography, if you want to do it nice, not with shitty scripts that leaves 1000 evidences of you there)
