What's up with some stores on Ali not allowing orders over 5$ with cheap untracked shipping? They claim Ali doesn't allow it but other stores don't seem to care.

My delivery guy keeps buying Chinkshit for his motorcycle. Every time he delivers a package to me he shows off a new accessory/trinket he bought from Aliexpress that he put on his bike. This time he bought a set of really nice Crash Sliders.

I suppose I could post this here
I bought this in Chinese Walmart for ¥6.8 (one blade included) and a pack of 5 Gillette blades for ¥6.30
The handle it's self is plastic and a bit chinsy, the head feels decent.
The shave it's self felt closer than with a disposable razor.
Overall not bad for the money, but I'm going to look for a new handle on Taobao

Yeah, just buy a motherboard, stick only CPU and RAM in it and there you have it, single-board computer. Each 3.5" drive consumes like 5W, you are not going to feed it out of 5V like the majority of SBCs work on.
>>
>>62458013
Was that the sperg's problem?
He wanted to directly power HDDs from an SBC?

SBCs are not there to feed power to your devices.

Get a 12V and 5V power supply.

In both cases you need a power supply with multiple voltages.
Motherboards aren't there to power your devices either.

http://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_redmi_note_4-review-1568p3.php

With the drop from a Snapdragon 650 to a Snapdragon 625 on the Redmi Note 4, the question on everybody's mind is naturally how well does the new phone perform and if it is any slower than the old one. The short answer is no.

The long answer is this; as we noted in our ASUS ZenFone 3 review, the Snapdragon 625 is no slouch when it comes to day to day performance. Based on the 14nm architecture, the eight Cortex-A53 cores perform well enough that with a bit of software optimization the performance is more than enough for most users.

And that is exactly what we found on the Redmi Note 4. In our daily use, we could have been using either of the Redmi Note phones and not notice any difference. Both phones feel just as fast when it comes to basic tasks like opening and closing apps, scrolling, and switching between apps. We even tried other activities such as installing apps that take an absurd amount to install (such as Facebook) or making lots of edits to a high-resolution DSLR image in Snapseed and then saving the image with all the edits, and then timed these activities. In each case, the difference between the two phones was within the margin of error.

This was reflected in our benchmark scores, where the Redmi Note 3 trounced the Redmi Note 4 in single-core scores due to its two powerful Cortex-A72 cores but in multi-score tests, the Redmi Note 4 handily beat the older phone with a sheer CPU core advantage, in this case, eight versus six. On top of that, both phones also have identical flash memory so not much of a difference there either. Translating that to the real world, you can see how the user experience between the two devices is more or less similar.

The unlocking site informed me that they will send me an sms once the request is approved(which could take days).
Did I get something wrong?
>>
>>62461130
It's an automated service, it shouldn't take weeks like it used to since back then someone had to manually approve it.
when you get the SMS you will only be able to unlock if it's been more than 72 hours that you added your account and device. There's no way to get around this.

if you want to add a capacitor do it in parallel to the outputs to the Ground. However, that may not even fix the issue due to it being cheap shit. You could also additionally check if any of the components are loose and see if that is what the issue is.
another potential issue is the fact that it is picking up noise from other devices emitting their waves.

>>

That's what a cap on the power input would smooth out.
>>
>>62463874
mha is basically the amount of charge that passed through the device (milliamps * hours)
what you want to look at for a faster charge is the amp range (A)
get a better cable than that and you might be able to hit the 2a or close to it (btw, normally the shorter the cable the better, at least when dealing with chink shit)
>>
>>62463874
Yeah your chink cable is only putting out like 200ma.

>>62463927
If it is a noise issue, you might be able to 'shield' it. try just taking foil, cover a side with electrical tape, then wrap the electrical tape side around the actual board.
Obviously its ghetto but who knows.

So I tried, probably did something wrong, and there's definitely interference from other USB devices (connecting a WiFi adapter makes a dial-up-like sound), which could be removed, but it's still making noise. Especially when I connect it in the OS I'm using, going from only having noise when another device is plugged in to a continuous high pitch when it's actually connected in the OS.

Upper cap is 50V 0.47uF and wired with the short lead to the V-.
Bottom caps are 16V 100uF and wired parallel, with the short lead to ground.
Didn't have anything smaller than 16V with most being 50V.

I have news, unfortunately they're not exactly good ones.

I bought a $5 Nomos watch from SK Watches at Ali sometime mid April. After all my hopes had vanished, I received it last week. Watch did make a ticking sound but it didn't move so I took it to a watch repair place. The guy told me it couldn't be fixed, something about the mechanism being broken. Today I messaged the seller explaining him the situation. I don't expect anything good but will keep you updated.

tl;dr: I have been chinked.

Well, it seems I have only 1 ceramic cap that's unused and it's marked "22" which I doubt is anywhere near 100nF.

you could do just as >>62466218 says, or you could grab something that has a "104" cap in it, take it temporarily to the usb dac and see if that fixes it before ordering anything
>>
>>62466282
air fryiers use super hot air to fry stuff, instead of oil
tBh *i* wouldnt use anything from chinkland for my food without taking it completely apart and cleaning it up properly. opinions vary so
>>
>>62466218
>>62466304
Ordered the caps, because I can't find a single ceramic cap, apart from my motherboard, that can be effectively used.

Also, I just read something about these cheap USB soundcards melting component because of the AC they put out, is this true and would this be prevented by using caps on positive to negative on the jack output?
>>
>>62466361 That sounds pretty cool, especially for long camping trips. Thanks anon!
>>
>>62466537
two gallons of oil take up less space than that monstrosity

Isn't basically just a small convection oven? why buy an extra device for that. Also not a very good deal, I've seen deals on philips air fryers, which is the market leader for them, at $99 pretty often.
>>
>>62466522
There was only one anon who claimed to have lost his headphones because of those cheap usb soundcards. I don't remember if there was irrefutable evidence that the soundcard caused it, though it was a chink shit so I wouldn't doubt.
>>
Anyone know a good sub $100 chinkshit phone
>>
>>62466522
>cheap USB soundcards melting component because of the AC they put out
if anything is going to melt its on the input side, if the usb supply doesnt regulate the output to 0.5a and the card goes short circuit some cables might melt. no way those are able to damage anything on the output

>>62466537
>for long camping trips
you need a wall socket, or a way to get 2k watts @ 110/220v ac. unless there is a version of it somewhere that takes, say, a couple of power drill battery packs and can use the 18v dc input to do its thing
>>
>>62466676
I got a traction battery in the car and solar on the roof
>>
>>62466637
>small convection oven
afaik small convection ovens usually go up to 250ºc slowly which is no where near the required (or close to) 400ºc to fry stuff instead
>>
>>62466694
You'll still need a really beefy inverter.
Don't trust chink inverters, they always lie about the power they can handle.

I did message him later and he replied with something similar. I know my post service is total trash so I just waited since I figured it would arrive safely. Chink stuff has been taking longer to arrive since last November.
>>
>>62466726
Any idea how beefy? I got one that can handle 1500W
>>

one that can run a couple of air dryers at the same time on maximum heat without beeping or shutting down would be my guess
>>

You must be new to chinkshit. If you open a dispute right around buyers protection expiration, then it's 100% sure that Ali will return your money.

It always worked for me and I always got free shit.

I don't see the power requirements on the product page but the other anon mentioned 2000W.

Astra premium platinum's last 4-5 shaves for me. I've used a Feather twice (they are NOT cheap), lasted 5-6, and they are sharp as fuck.

I liked the Feather for how close it got, but I kept cutting myself too much. It's too sharp for me.

I fucking wish but no, I had one of those and it was great. Thanks.
>>
>>62467176
Yeah they're ussually pretty bad, if you have a cassette deck the deck to 3.5mm is better. If you must that kind is the way to go rather than battery or device powered.

Just buy a 3.5mm to cassette adapter, don't get meme MP3 shit. Or better yet, replace your dash unit with a bluetooth/aux unit from a thrift store or something.

No idea, be a csg pioneer and find out for us.
Check if dimensions and cables will fit first though.
>>
>>62467468
They are probably okay in terms of supporting radio. Haven't had any bad FM transmitters including random BT->FM things and such.

Whether they'll zap your smartphone in normal or extraordinary circumstances, I couldn't tell.
>>
>>
>Out Power: 4*50W
>Output Power: 4 x 60W
i can buy offbrand ones locally for $25 that are 4*40w. sounds like a good deal
word of caution though, some radios, like the one you linked, have a custom pinout, and you have to use the supplied adapter, so you need to cut and solder the cables of the adapter currently on your radio onto this one. its not hard to do when you have both the pinouts spec sheet, but it might be tedious if the cables are short and you need to solder in a tight space
>>
>>62467580
>Whether they'll zap your smartphone in normal or extraordinary circumstances, I couldn't tell.
It's running from a 12V battery. A lot harder to dangerously fuck up USB charging there than on some wall wart.

Install meshes on your windows (ali has them cheap), if your house isn't shack-tier that will solve the issue.
