The classic theme on 7 strains my eyes far more because of the jarring aesthetic clashes between the modern glassy UI elements and the classic style UI elements. While I agree that MS stop using pure #FFFFFF it's really not as visually offensive as you seem to think it is, I suggest you improve the lighting in your room and/or adjust the brightness on your display. Otherwise, your ricing options on Windows are pretty limited and I'd suggest using something more customisable if it really is that terrible to you.
