Is Clevo chinkshit or legitimately good?
>>62438407
do they still make alienwares?
>>62438426
no, dell owns alienware
>>62438407
System76 are just rebranded Clevos.
>>62438407
They can be really good. For price to performance it is the best deal you can do.
Isn't there one insane Sager with like 2 1080Ti's for like 3 grand or some shit
I have 1, it's good, battery life's shit, I have a sager
>>62438407
Really good. I got one from forever ago with a 485M that ended up being stuffed with cat hair and gaming is at 99C on GPU. Still goes hard

clevo p750dm-g owner here
have had it for 2 years now and I've had no problems with mine and I've run it for long periods of time and playing vydya with it but I always treat it well too its got no scratches anywhere and havent drop it once
build quality 8/10
look 8/10 (for the time when it first came out, and similar to your pic) now its more of a 7.5/10 cause it just feels bulkier in comparison to 10xx series laptops
specs are
i7 6700k
16 gbs of ram
2 x 500gbs of ssd
1 tb hdd
and I still have an extra slot for more storage
980m gpu with the gsync
4k screen (dont recommend)
no optimus, fuck that
downside battery life is less than 3 hours but its still powerful and portable enough and I got an extra battery and its the size of my note5 so very well thought of them because it hasnt been a hindrance
so yea good taiwanese shit

I think you van just buy a barebones too if you can manage to paste your own cpu and I think gpu. rjtech I think was the company look em up
Look at those fucking hinges, absolutely revolting.
I bought one right after highschool and it lasted me all through college. Clevo/Sager has good price/performance but eventually it just started getting way too hot and the fans got crazy fucking loud all the time. You could do a lot worse as far as gaming laptops are concerned
I have one. It weighs a fucking ton.
Avoid/Check the weight if you have long commutes

8 pounds pussy
Often good value for the components and screen, shit build quality and materials.
Looks like shit out of an early 2000s spy flick
