Justalittle. Last time I did Perl 5 I was like 19, but what I remember was references were a bit of a chore to deal with, haven't had that issue with 6 yet. Then again I am way better than I was.

Anyway, look at some of the thread shit. I've been fucking with Native Call and Win32 API (because I hate fun) also. I am thinking about screwing with grammars next, maybe make a STM8 assembler or something.

On Windows? We are talking basic shit like GetError or VerifyVersionInfo. Perl 6 Native Call for that is basically

sub GetError(--> Int) is native('kernel32')

or something like that.

What gets hard is passing in a struct with a fixed size array in it. Or interfacing to COM is like 30 bitches because apparently you have to build the interfaces like manually built C++ memory layout. In Perl fucking 6. But thems the breaks when trying to interface with things that have a very specific hardware layout.

Most Native Call stuff is easy if you are just calling functions that don't take too many fancy arguments.
