Basically, if I run the mod off a .bat, Steam always prompts with a "are you sure you want to run this?"

For some reason, the exe bypasses the new Steam check, removing a constant source of irritation. I prefer to make my mod as unobtrusive as possible, and hassle free.

I used the f2ko one, as it lets you add an icon.

You're not following me. I could do that np, but if I do that and upload the game, everyone who plays said mod will just get the same shit (and therefore not play it, as Defender et. al eats the exe)

I see. Well .bat is not the best language available, but if it gets the job done...

Thank you. I've found another program (Advanced BAT to EXE Converter) which might have solved this. Windows Def isn't flagging it after launching.

I'll restart and see if it perseveres.
