Do only normal-leech torrents contribute to the download achievements on GGN now? I don't think this was the case some months ago. I'm confused, because I downloaded a large neutral-leech torrent and got no download credit for the achievement. It seems that FL torrents DO count though. Or could it be that large enough torrents (400 GB) do not count?
>SCC is die
Fuck, I still had a good buffer on this. Why can't trackers let users know in advance that they're shutting down?
Another sky. Counting heartbeats
Not on the KG I continue my journey accompanied by complex anime and Korean kinography.
Watching anime literally too complex for PTP curries. Literally so complex they can only respond in memes that don't work. Literally so complex they never even try to understand it.
reminder to use all your tokens now you can
I can find all that stuff on RUT and SS.
>shitty 'cover' band that literally covers top40 music
>not even the entire song, just the main track
>not even a clever arrangement, doesn't even sound live
what do you mean? heeyeyeeheheh. what do you mean?
I don't see how, all their songs sound extremely dynamic and every instrument is well defined
You can even make out where each member is standing as they play
I think it's much more enjoyable
I literally don't see what you're getting at, I get that you don't like the music but why are you quoting >I don't see how, all their songs sound extremely dynamic and every instrument is well defined ?
Even over youtube the instruments sound great
It's still just a boring cover of a song that has less depth than the song it attempts to cover. Completely undermining the song it's supposed to be with lifeless instrumentation. You're removing the most significant part of the song and what you're left with is a repetitive track. Doesn't even sound better than the actual instrumentation. There's no talent involved. I'm sorry to say this to you.
>less depth than the song it attempts to cover
I disagree, I don't see how anyone could listen to that joke of a song with that same heavy 'beat' every 2 seconds. Pounds my head in
>There's no talent involved
That's not really what I'm after in music but I see your point I guess
One of the main things I like about them is they take songs that sound like they're recorded in mono, and make them sound like I'm sitting in the room with them, I think they're one of the most enjoyable bands I've ever heard
Why would I compare two different songs to eachother you dimwit? Continue listening to covers of songs that remove the only worthwhile part of them though. I'm sure it's what makes the top 40 actually good just like you said. The reason you can't find it anywhere is because no one should listen to it. Just buy it off of itunes. Or are you poor?
So using a private tracker means keeping an rss feeds to grab new torrents of the last GoT season, so that you might be one of the few actually capable of seeding something to other people with slower connections then yours trying to do the same thing.
How is this different then mining Bitcoins (without any prospect of monetary gain)?
>spends money on basic high end headphones
>doesnt have surround sound
stupid newfag ptp always does this. It only matters when you cant download. there's also always based and hdb. Soon youngling you'll experience your first full month of btn downtime and then you'll be hooked on downloading from hdb
>gets called poor
>posts headphones at desk
>not home media center
You watch movies with headphones?
How can I find out the compression level of a FLAC file?
Is there a way I can easily compress all my FLAC files equally (of course without information loss)?
>tfw used to have a GGn account very early on but stopped using it since the tracker was dead compared to BCG and the admins were removing games that offended them like nip porn ones
>BCG died and UG.club seems to have died
>only GGn left
>Account is obviously trimmed a long while ago
>red and apooloo have over 1.7m torrents combined
>only have mainstream and live phish albums
>end up having to use rutracker to get most my music anyways since its all rehosted from what
why did these people even bother making new sites when we had our what.cd replacement all along?
>Try to get on as many trackers as possible. Most of the jealous neckbeards here tell you otherwise. Don't heed their advise.
>I am all trackers that I can get an invite to through power user forums.
>Currently, 50+ trackers.
>I am from India and this gotta be a joke. US infrastructure is great already. I think Trump is just using the situation to attack Obama because he is black and successful. Just doesn't fit Trump's Amerikkkan think.
India really is curry.
Thanks for the recommendation.
I just did some research and read that even compressing FLAC 0 to FLAC 8 doesn't even save that much space.
Do any of you regularly compress your music library?
Any experience on the average compression level on the music trackers (APL, RED, NWCD)? The setup guide recommends FLAC 8 of course, but I wouldn't be surprised if some lazy bastards want to save some time and use a lower compression level.
>snatching 100% flacs and retail epubs from bigboyz to cross-seed on red and bib for ez buffer
Why, are they recruiting neons from Red?
So many clueless fucks posting on PTP's forums, how did they even get there? Stupid questions should be an insta ban, replace with someone who isn't a worthless sack of shit and can read.
>we like the same type of music
>i offer to invite her to red
>she doesnt know what it is so i show her
>"lol what is this ugly nerd shit"
complex anime < complex mango < complex KG kino < epics lengthening about 3000 chapters
Can't you go one day without your capeshit?
What's the point of a general about muh sekrit klubbz if you fags aren't giving out invites and only talking about anime all the time?
So what? you should have weeks worth of complex anime and arthouse on your hdd
>Be on SCC
>invited PM's you, can't make buffer, so sad
>tell him gibs me your login details
>log in on different IP/browser, flash 2TBs
>holy shit inviter how did you ever, better ask staff
>both get banned
>stayed on tracker with many TBs flashed for years until noob
>staff makes thread on upper class subsection
I leave my pc on all the time so seeding is not an issue.
I don't have an issue with the interview besides being too lazy to do it. And I'm not on any other private tracker so being invited seems like a non-option.
I guess I might as well try joining both.
they also drop off after a week or two. they grab new releases & upload them to other autosnatcher seedboxes, giving each other increased buffer. grab what you want as soon after it has been uploaded as you can & you will at least get some upload from it, then as the weeks go on you'll get more and more as the seedboxes dump older stuff to make room for that weeks releases. I've uploaded 27gb doing just that, in the past 5 days that you've gotten 150mb.
>I leave my pc on all the time so seeding is not an issue.
i have a nas dedicated to seeding 24/7 and i still can't really get much upload on red. if you want to download a lot you pretty much need a seedbox. the only other options are to upload a ton of 100% log/cue flacs, or wait for a site wide freeleech and whore everything you can
no. leaving a low powered intel box (around 10watt typical usage torrenting) on 24/7 uses around $1.50 a month of electricity. using an ARM SBC and you are looking at half or even a third of that.
>tfw the only thing holding me up from a promotion at BTN is bonus points
>go to the KG
>actual filmmakers are uploading their exclusive content
>tracker works 100% of the time
>go to PTP
>endless amounts of capeshit
>tracker doesn't even work
>go to KG
>people actually love their hobby and take it seriously
>go to AB
>people massively dislike complex anime because they don't get it
I've been looking to getting into a private tracker for some ebooks so I don't have to fucking pay for them. But just because the selection is great I think the rules are not for me. Ratio's and seeding etc.
So what do? I just want some ebooks literally like once a month without having to jump through hoops.
Now don't get me wrong private trackers are cool for people who are dedicated to like, movies or porn. But I'm a productive person who doesn't just watch Anime all day. So where can I find this shit?
ebooks are small as hell and don't take up much space, all you have to do is just leave your torrent client up with them in it.... it's not a big deal.
myanonamouse is easy to get in to
Get into MAM, download a good amount of the freeleech stuff, seed it forever. As long as you aren't downloading audiobooks, you can more or less download any book you want. Ebooks are fucking small after all.
Heck if you just download one huge(20Gb) popular audiobook collection on freeleech and just seed it to ratio 0.5, you could probably get away with snatching a couple ebooks per month for a decade or so.
You actually could do this. I mean there are like 5 unicode characters for spaces and periods. There are even unicode characters that have no length.
Of course this won't work for the same reasons that newfags can't copy pasta.
aka, audiobook torrents, is the most curry tracker I have ever seen.
Holy shit, it is bad. Literally had SQL errors on the login page. What tracker software is this? How could it be so bad?
>finally figure out some stuff to snatch w/ my tokens
>download forty albums on RED
>Notice my ratio is below 1
>mfw I forget to use the tokens
>>mfw I forget to use the tokens
I'm using Deluge right now but I want to switch to QBittorrent. I have a few hundred torrents scattered over a couple of folders that I want to switch over. How do I make this as painless as possible? Getting all the .torrent files will be easy.
>PTP comes back up
>300 torrents start uploading instantly
Much safer to summarize. Even that isn't foolproof - what if they add a unique detail to every memo?
>freeleech will start on September 20
different member memo:
>fl starts on september 21
There's probably a good amount on Usenet.
set the default download folder in qbittorrent then take all the downloaded files and put them in the default download folder, then take every .torrent file and put them in a different folder and set the watch folder in qbittorrent to that folder. if you did it right it should autoload all the torrents and start verifying everything. if it starts downloading then you fucked up somewhere. watch it and make sure.
