you'd have gotten letterboxing anyway, and would have had to pinch to zoom to even attempt filling the video footage to the edge

The "nice display" is the OLED panel in a DCI-P3 color gamut a close to 4k resolution with over 400 DPI, in the same size body.

The curved edge is for UI, not for content viewing, and the aspect ratio would have forced letterboxing anyway.

If it was going to be letterboxed anyway, on ANY phone with curved edges, why the fuck would it matter?

The notch is good though. It lets you know where the top is. Otherwise these bezel less phones are too confusing.

what? the option where the notch doesn't cover up the video is 16:9 it doesn't fuck with the aspect ratio at all.

the full screen mode fucks up with the curved edges and the notch. but you got a choice, it's not perfect but it's not bad.
