What's wrong with it? It looks good to me.

Is there a DE that can look good (flat, minimalistic, modern) and not fucking GARBAGE by default?
Or do any of them have more options included? I've only tried cinnamon and after looking through the appearance settings I've turned off the VM and am only going to ever come back to use the text mode if I need to do something that requires me to use linux.
Oh also why can't the text mode display symbols like "ě,š,č,ř,ž"? If you set it to a language that has those it just displays white blocks instead in the words that contain them.
Nice "fully functional desktop operating system".
What the fuck do you even need a login screen for? Just enter username+password and then write startx or make X start automatically upon login.

That's the earliest mockup of the design you could get, everyone agrees that it's fugly. This is the current look: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/484790#step/first_boot/1

That abomination was never shipped. Just some circlejerking from the "design" team. Sadly, those ugly icons are still available for users to choose.

This triggers my autism too.
